We have been preparing IEEE ICSOS 2022 as a hybrid event considering the travel limitations due to COVID-19 and hoping for things to go back to normal so that we could have a face-to-face meeting and fruitful discussions. As many of you already noticed, there was a change from 1st of March 2022 allowing travel to Japan with a visa, but still excluding visitors who have been in one of the 159 listed countries prior to the trip. Following the above, the Organizing Committee has decided to change IEEE ICSOS 2022 to an entirely virtual conference on the originally-planned dates. The decision brought further delay to the registration opening, but we hope to open registration in a few days. We deeply regret that we will not be able to meet in person in beautiful Kyoto this time and hope to have this opportunity next time!
As originally planned, the conference will be held in hybrid mode, allowing both online participation and on-site participation. The dates remain as announced on the conference website. We are constantly checking the travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation, which may lead to fully online event. The registration will be open in the next few days.
A preliminary version of the IEEE ICSOS 2022 program (Japan Standard Time) has been released.
The notification date will be delayed. The acceptance/rejection notification will be announced to the authors by email shortly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
In order to maximize the opportunity for the researchers in our field to share their latest results, we are pleased to announce the extension of the deadline for the IEEE ICSOS 2022 abstract submission to 15th of December. Do not miss this opportunity. We hope to see you at ICSOS 2022 in March!
